These Terms of Service govern use of CON8CT's public website and platform, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement governing your access. CON8CT LLC, a Florida limited liability company, operates the service and is referred to as CON8CT, we and our in these terms. CON8CT provides software for school operations, learning and community communication. It does not act as your school or make school decisions for it.
A signed customer agreement, order form or data-processing agreement controls over conflicting public terms for the subject it covers. School rules can also apply to school activities. An adult accepting an agreement for an organization must have authority to do so. These terms do not treat a child's use or a school invitation as authority to enter a commercial contract.
Use accurate account information and access only the school workspaces, roles, records and features you are authorized to use. Keep credentials private, do not share another person's account, and notify your school or CON8CT if you suspect unauthorized access. You remain responsible for your own use and reasonable care of your credentials.
A login, invitation, link or application does not grant every school role or record permission. Schools can change or revoke membership and role access. You may not bypass authentication, school boundaries, permissions, feature restrictions or other access controls.
Schools are responsible for their authorized administration, educational decisions, record accuracy, staff and family relationships, user provisioning, and school-authored notices and content. Each participant must provide information they are entitled to share and follow applicable law and school policies.
Where children's information is involved, applicable notices and parent or school authorization must be in place before collection. School authorization is limited to the permitted educational use. CON8CT retains the legal obligations that apply to its own service and conduct; these terms do not transfer those obligations to a school, teacher or parent.
Do not use CON8CT unlawfully, harass or exploit others, impersonate a person, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, upload malicious code, distribute prohibited content, or interfere with the service. Do not obtain, disclose or attempt to access school records without authorization.
Do not scrape private data, evade security or billing controls, disrupt availability, or perform security testing without permission. Upload only files and content you are authorized to provide, following the applicable restrictions. Report suspected vulnerabilities through CON8CT's contact channel without exposing private records.
These terms do not transfer ownership of submitted content to CON8CT. You must have the rights and authorizations needed to submit it and permit the processing necessary to provide the requested service. You authorize CON8CT to host, process, display and transmit that content only as needed for the authorized functions and applicable agreement.
CON8CT's software, design, trademarks and other service materials remain protected by their respective owners' rights. Your authorized access is a limited right to use the service, not a transfer of those materials. Additional ownership, licensing and data-handling terms in a customer agreement remain controlling.
The Privacy Policy explains information practices, school-record responsibilities and request routing. Additional data-processing or confidentiality terms may apply to purchased services. Respect confidential information and do not publish another person's student, family, staff or financial information without authority.
Do not use real personal or school information in a shared demo. Limit sensitive data to authorized workflows and follow your school's policies. Membership removal is an access change and does not itself delete records; record retention, export and deletion remain subject to applicable agreements and law.
Paid CON8CT subscriptions, trial periods, included features, renewal, cancellation, taxes and refunds are governed by the applicable offer, order form or customer agreement and mandatory law. Review those terms before purchasing; this page does not establish a price, trial guarantee or refund deadline.
Only an authorized representative may purchase or change a school's platform subscription. Payment confirmation and service entitlement depend on verified provider state and the applicable agreement. A browser receipt or return page alone does not establish a completed payment or activate a plan.
Tuition, application fees, donations and other school charges are separate from CON8CT's SaaS subscription. The school and the relevant payment provider determine the applicable school-charge terms, recipient, refund policies and disputes, subject to law and any separate agreement.
Schools decide admissions, offers, final enrollment, placement and withdrawals. Submitting an application, accepting an offer or paying a charge does not independently guarantee acceptance, enrollment or placement. Confirm the applicable requirements and the school's recorded decision with the school.
Some features depend on third-party authentication, communications, payments or AI services. Their applicable terms and notices also govern their services. A link to an external service does not by itself guarantee its content or availability. School administrators must assess enabled integrations and any required authorizations.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Review it before use, protect sensitive information, and use it only within the school's approved purposes. CON8CT and AI tools do not replace professional judgment or make binding educational, medical, legal or financial decisions for you.
We may maintain, update or change the platform and its features. Interruptions can result from maintenance, security measures or events affecting CON8CT or service providers. Features described in marketing are available only as implemented and included in the applicable service arrangement.
Service levels, support commitments and notice obligations are established by the applicable customer agreement, if any. Unless expressly agreed, CON8CT is not an emergency communication channel. Use the school's established emergency procedures for urgent matters involving a person's safety.
CON8CT may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk, a legal requirement or a material breach, subject to the applicable agreement and law. Schools may separately change user access under their policies. Notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue apply where required by law or contract.
When access ends, continuing payment obligations, permitted exports, retention, deletion and any surviving terms are determined by the governing agreement and law. Suspension or cancellation does not automatically erase school records. Contact your school or CON8CT about authorized access to information needed for offboarding.
Except for express commitments in the applicable agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, CON8CT disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every result will be error-free.
These limitations do not override express customer commitments or mandatory consumer, privacy, education or other legal protections. Schools and users must independently review decisions, submissions and outputs that affect people or finances.
To the extent permitted by law and subject to any governing customer agreement, CON8CT is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Liability limits, indemnities, dispute procedures and any chosen governing law for purchased services are addressed in the applicable customer agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a remedy that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, or imposes arbitration or a class-action waiver. If a dispute arises, contact CON8CT so we can first try to resolve it. Where no separate agreed provision applies, applicable law determines the parties' rights and available forum.
We may update these terms, with the current edition identified by the date above. Required notice, agreement or consent procedures still apply. An update does not override a signed customer agreement or reduce rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver. Questions about the service or these terms can be sent through the contact options below.
