Information supports the school services you use, account access, support and platform security.
Schools manage their records and access policies. This notice explains CON8CT's platform role.
Contact your school about its records, or CON8CT about platform privacy and account information.
These highlights are a guide. Please read the full document below.
This Privacy Policy describes information processed through CON8CT's public website, platform accounts and school workspaces. The service is operated by CON8CT LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In this notice, CON8CT, we and our refer to CON8CT LLC; school refers to the organization using a workspace.
For records a school manages, the school determines many purposes of processing and CON8CT provides the requested service under the applicable customer agreement and school instructions. School notices, signed data-processing terms and applicable law may provide additional requirements. This notice does not replace them.
Information may come from you, your school, authorized family or staff members, and connected services enabled for the school. Account and contact information can include names, email addresses, authentication details, preferences and school memberships. Website inquiries can include the information you choose to send us.
Depending on the features in use, school records can include student and guardian relationships, applications, enrollment and placement, attendance, learning records, forms, documents, communications and financial records. Technical information can include IP addresses, device and browser details, session information, access events and error logs. Provide only information needed for the purpose and which you are authorized to share.
We use information to provide requested school and platform functions, authenticate accounts, apply access permissions, process authorized transactions, deliver communications, respond to inquiries and troubleshoot the service. Security and operational information helps detect misuse, investigate incidents and maintain reliable operation.
School-record processing is limited by the school's authorized purposes, applicable agreements and law. These purposes do not authorize advertising profiles of children or unrelated commercial use of student records. Where a separate optional use requires consent or another legal basis, that requirement must be addressed before the use begins.
A school controls its own educational decisions, records and user relationships. Staff access depends on their authorized duties; family and student access depends on the relationships and permissions established by the school. Being an applicant or receiving an offer does not itself create access to enrolled-student records.
Ask the school about its notices, permitted uses, correction procedures and record access. Where FERPA or another education privacy law applies, processing must follow its applicable requirements and the school's agreement with CON8CT. Using CON8CT does not by itself establish a legal exception, consent or compliance certification.
Children may use CON8CT through a school-authorized experience. Where required, appropriate notices and parent or school authorization must be in place before collecting children's information. School authorization, where legally permitted, is limited to the educational context and does not authorize unrelated commercial use.
CON8CT remains responsible for the privacy obligations that apply to its own conduct. A parent or guardian can contact the school or CON8CT to ask about information collected, request review or deletion, or request that further collection or use stop, as provided by applicable law. We verify the requester's identity and authority and coordinate with the school as appropriate; applicable law and required recordkeeping may affect the result.
Information is made available to authorized school users and recipients needed for the functions the school selects. Service providers may process information for hosting, storage, delivery of communications, authentication, payment processing or support, subject to the applicable arrangements and purpose restrictions. Connected services have their own notices.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or as permitted by law to protect people, investigate misuse or defend legal rights. Any disclosure in a business reorganization must remain subject to applicable privacy duties and contractual restrictions. Ask us about the providers and processing arrangements relevant to your deployment.
When an AI or connected feature is enabled, the information needed to fulfill a request may be processed by the configured service provider. Access to school material remains subject to school permissions, enabled features and applicable policy. Do not include sensitive information in a prompt unless the school has authorized that use.
Provider processing terms, eligible data, student access and any additional notices or authorizations must be assessed for that feature and deployment. AI output can be inaccurate and needs human review. This notice does not grant permission to reuse school records for unrelated purposes or change a provider's contractual data-use terms.
CON8CT uses access controls, school-scoped permissions and security-aware workflows to help protect information. Safeguards and incident handling also depend on the deployment, service providers and applicable customer commitments. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Keep credentials private, use the security options provided to you, and report suspected account misuse promptly. If an incident requires notice, the applicable legal and contractual notice duties govern our response. We do not claim that this page establishes an independent security certification.
Retention depends on the information's purpose, school instructions, the applicable agreement, legal recordkeeping duties, security needs and any preservation requirement. School records, platform account information, transaction records and backups can have different retention requirements. Contact the school or CON8CT for the schedule that applies to the information at issue.
Leaving a school or disabling membership ends the relevant access; it does not automatically erase a global account or school records. A deletion request requires review of authority, scope and applicable obligations. Retention and deletion must be limited to legitimate purposes and applicable law; this notice does not promise an immediate purge or a single fixed period for all data.
Depending on the applicable law and CON8CT's role, you may have rights to request access, correction, export, deletion or limits on particular processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to an appropriate authority. These rights can have conditions and exceptions; withdrawing consent does not change processing already lawfully completed.
For school-managed records, contact the school first. For platform account information or concerns about CON8CT's own practices, use the contact details below. We may need to verify identity and authority before responding or sharing records, and will coordinate with the school where needed. Use available account preferences for optional communications; essential account, service and security notices may still be sent.
Information may be processed where CON8CT or its service providers operate. Applicable agreements and law determine any location restrictions and safeguards for cross-border processing. Contact us to confirm the arrangements for your school; this page does not promise a particular hosting country.
We may revise this notice as services or practices change. The date above identifies this edition. Where a change requires additional notice, consent or agreement, we will follow that requirement; publishing an update does not override an existing customer agreement or mandatory privacy rights.
